i have compilled mydns-ng from source, it is working and functionality with mydns-mysql seems to be same.

even version number "mydns-mysql 1.1.0-7etch1" compare to "mydns-ng 1.2.8"
looks like the same software is continuing under slightly different name (different developers?)

Well if its any use to you, I have found several sites that still have it if you want it. I'm also going to try to package mydns-ng along the same lines that the previous maintainer did. It amazes me what goes into packaging an app.

Most of these links are still good at this time of writing.

Download mydns-mysql_1.1.0-7.1lenny1_i386.deb:

I did a quick google search for mydns-mysql_1.1.0-7.1lenny1_amd64.deb and came up with this link.
