Default defining websites

One of my websites is divided into other websites:
http://www.factory.com has a part:
http://department.factory.com
(is that part called a subdomain?)

Do I have to enter department.factory.com into the list Co-Domains or do I have to create a new website?

Regards,
Guido

I guess you want to see other html pages when you go to www.factory.com as when you go to department.factory.com?

Then you will have to create separate websites for each subdomain.
