SPF doesn't seems to be working

Hi,

I have installed the ispconfig on FC9 by using the perfect server howto, Everything else if working fine. But it seems SPF doesn't seems to be working.

I have added the records for the MX and A records that will send the emails. But i am still getting email from my own email addresses and SPF doesn't seems to checking those, there is also nothing showing up in maillog, which suggests that SPF is working.

I have though tested with 'dig TXT mydomain.com' and it shows the spf1 config in my domain's zone file.

Please suggest if i am doing something wrong, and what i can check.

SPF is set in the dns system, so you will not see anything in the mail log about it. If you want to check your spf records, use one of the spf testers:

Hi,

I have tested the SPF record against the testers, it is working fine. My SPF record machnism '-all' which says to reject the email if it fail SPF test.

What i am looking is the way where i can use spamassassin to reject emails when SPF is failed, right now spamassassin just give such a email some SPAM score.

Is it possible to tell spamassassin to do so.

SpamAssassin cannot reject emails because it just calculates a score based on which procmail decides what to do.
You could do it if you were using SpamAssassin together with amavisd-new, but with procmail that's not possible.
