Default PureFtpd virtual users on lighttp
Hello

I tryed this how to http://www.howtoforge.com/virtual-ho...-mysql-fedora9 but with lighttp. Unable to authenticas with the mysql user infromation. I was able to login to FTP server with local users account. How can I authentice with mysql also, I am using Opensuse 11 and lighttp with mysql as well for hosting.

The web server doesn't have anything to do with the Pure-FTPd authentication. You need it only for phpMyAdmin.

I do not use phpMyAdmin to manage mysql. I do from he command line or webmin, the user is created in the data base with pw, but Pure-FTPD does not authenticates with data base, just with local user.

Please compare your Pure-FTPd configuration with the one from the tutorial. Are there any errors in your logs?
