Anyone here who might know if it's possible to create an email address for a co-domain?

Example. I have in ISPconfig a client who's main domain is: example.com
Now he got an extra domain named: the2nddomain.com

I've added "the2nddomain.com" in the co-domains, and now when going to "the2nddomain.com" it does show the "example.com" page.
The client now also wants an email address for "the2nddomain.com" (it's only for receiving mail).

Problem: How do I create this email address?

A co-domain is an alias for another domain, which means it's not necesarry to create a seperate mailbox.
In your case the2nddomain.com is an alias for example.com.

If you create the following co-domains for example.com:

co-domain 1:
host = www
domain = the2nddomain.com

co-domain 2:
host = (empty)
domain = the2nddomain.com

When an e-mail has been send to user@example.com, the mail will also arrive at user@the2nddomain.com.

Hi Hans.. I'm aware of what you are saying, but this is not what I'm asking. (or I'm misreadings your reply)

I've got one main domain: example.com
For that account, I've got one co-domain: the2nddomain.com
Going to www.example.com, example.com, www.the2nddomain.com and the2nddomain.com works fine.

The client has got email setup for @example.com
Now he also wants an info@the2nddomain.com email address.
It's okay with him if it gets forwarded to the @example.com address.
(note that the MX record for the2nddomain.com is setup okay.)

So.. Question is.. How do I get ISPconfig to accept email for the2nddomain.com without creating a "main domain" account for it.

Okay..

I got it working.

I needed to add the email address to the "virtusertable" (below the #### MAKE MANUEL ENTRIES BELOW THIS LINE! ####), and point it to the web17_info (the accout) of that user.
After that I reload the file...
