Default problems with vodafone mobile connect for linux

I wonder if you can help. I'm currently runnig ubuntu and trying to connect with a Huawei E220 Modem, I installed the software of various versions of Vodafe-Mobile-Connect-for-linux. The proble is, when i try and open it initially it doesn't enter setup and eventually closes the window. Any options that I can use? Is there any other software that is compatible for my hardware?

Are there any errors in your logs related to this problem?

Default Setup problems

I checked the logs. I had to install a couple of other files. Namely python serial. The program now opens, but it seems my settings are incorrect. Perhaps you could help with where I can find the correct settings for my modem (huawei e220). I tried to apply the settings i usually use in windows but that doesn't seem to work.
