CentOS 5 Install error

i have tried to install ISPConfig in CentOs 5 (VPS) but i have got some problem:

checking for mSQL support... no
checking for MSSQL support via FreeTDS... no
checking for MySQL support... yes
checking for specified location of the MySQL UNIX socket... no
checking for MySQL UNIX socket location... no
configure: error: Cannot find MySQL header files under /usr.
Note that the MySQL client library is not bundled anymore!

is this server installed as by "perfect setup guide"?

i have used Installation manual (online).
i have extracted file and have runned setup file.

mysql-devel isn't installed. Please run

yum install mysql-devel

(see http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect-server-centos-5.2-p4 ) and try the installation again.
