Default Question about /etc/aliases

Is it correct if i put for example my first ISPConfig-Account web1_001 in aliases: "root: web1_001" (...newaliases...)? Will web1_001 now collect these mails or would i have to add a real mailadress?

The format "root: web1_001" should be fine.
