Default upgrade from 2.2.18 to latest

Hi

Is it straight forward to upgrade ISpconfig from version 2.2.18 to the latest version or does it require a complete reinstall from scratch?

You can update directly to 2.2.24.

Yes that is possible.
Just download it, extract the package and start the install script.

Explanation:
------------
The ISPCOnfig 2.2.x series belong to the stable branch.
The series 2.3.x series belong to the unstable/developement branch.
You can update from a previous 2.2.x version to the latest stable version, which is version 2.2.24 on the moment.

Important:
----------
Never update from ISPCOnfig series 2.2.x to 2.3.x or from 2.3.x to 2.2.x. because the MySQL database structure is different.

The ./setup script which comes with ISPConfig, recognises that it is not a new install, so it performs an update, which is what you want.

A backup of the current database and directory /root/ispconfig will be created as well within the directory /tmp.
