Problem ftping after install of blockhosts

Hi all, this is my first post on this forum and I was wondering if anyone has had this issue before...

I installed blockhost on a freebsd box and now i cannot upload or over write files thru ftp... i keep getting a 550 permission denied message... the user that i am fpting with is the same as before the blockhost install and was working fine untill the install of that script.... I look all in the config files of blockhost but am unable to find were to enable the upload of files... I can ftp to the server the the user and roam around and download file but can not upload files or make directories... has anyone ever had this type of issue?
