Default php.ini and suphp

Hi,

I'm a little confused about exactly what suPHP can do. I've read that it can enable site based php.ini and also that I just allows php to be run under different users.

Which is it? I'd really like to be able to have independent php.ini files for each site (a la Ensim).

Thanks

doc
