Default Sending email problem

Hi all,

Firstly Till and Falko what a nice package you have put together.

I am using debian 3.1 perfect setup and ispconfig as detailed.

I can receive emails but can not send either using a pop3 client or webmail client.

This is the pop3 error

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

'andrrew@tlccomputers.com.au' on 6/02/2006 2:26 PM
550 <andrrew@tlccomputers.com.au>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table

The local user trying to send the email was web1_admin.

The local domain is tlchosting.net.

I can send emails to domains local to the ISP box but now to any other email addresses.

I have looked through the forum but not found anything like this mentioned before.

All help gratefully received.

Thanks in advance

Is 202.83.90.70 your server's IP address? Is andrrew@tlccomputers.com.au in /etc/postfix/virtusertable?

Default sending email problem

Hi

202.83.90.70 is the ip address of the ispconfig server.

andrrew@tlccomputers.com.au is the address that I am trying to send to.

admin@tlchosting is the address that I am trying to send from.

andrrew@tlccomputers.com.au is not a user in the ispconfig system

admin@tlchosting IS a user on the ispconfig system

Andrew

Mails for tlccomputers.com.au go to 202.83.90.12, which means that this error:

Quote:
The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

'andrrew@tlccomputers.com.au' on 6/02/2006 2:26 PM
550 <andrrew@tlccomputers.com.au>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table
originates from 202.83.90.12, not the ISPConfig server.
