How to config a bandwidth shaper?

Hi Guys,

I need to shape a 16Mbsinternet line through squid proxy server.
I tested mastershaper in bridge and route mode but haven't can to shape connections to the internet.
Do anyone knows any shaper to introduce me?

Hi again,

I am reading and trying for several days on bandwidth shaping on internet distribution servers such as VPN and proxy servers.

I found that on vpn structure it is relatively easy to control each connection
because each client has a separated private stream.
but in proxy structure it is a bit hard because almost no deference is between connections. But eventually I tested shapping on squid with "delay pools" and now I am working on "tcss" as a traffic controller script .
primary configuration for use of delay pools is written in official site "www.squid-cache.org"
