Default Driver floppy

Hello everyone,

I have an issue with the installation of Ubuntu 8.04. The RAID controller is not recognized (LSI MegaRaid SAS 1068E). I have the source from LSI, and I have compile the driver under VMware.
Now I have the ko files, but when I copied on floppy, the installer said that "this is not a driver floppy". Does it mean that there is a special directory structure needed on the floppy?

Could you provide me the information how to create a driver floppy and load the correct driver to create the partitions.

Thanks,

Greg.
