Question How to setup FTP users

Can anybody tell me how to setup FTP users under ISPConfig for one FTP server? I read in the forums I can add a user and this user can use FTP then. But adding a users automaticly adds an emailaddress and this is not what I want. What I do want is:

Setup a serperate ftp server for each domain. Then add users to the domain who have FTP access but no email address. By example:

one of the FTP sites has a folder tools and upload, all users of this domain have to see and use these 2 folders, but a user from another domain cannot see these folders and so he cannot use them.

Is this possible?

No.users in ISPConfig have always an eal address, but you dont have to use this email address if you want only use the FTP functionality.

If you don't want email addresses for your users, you can select "External Mailserver" for every domain and Co-Domain of a web site.

If you just want a seperate FTP server, then maybe you should have a look at these two tutorials:
