Default ISPConfig behind NAT firewall -- possible?

Has anyone done this cleanly and successfully? I'm curious how.

It seems the problem is that the site has a private IP address where as the DNS settings need to be a public IP address.

I need the system to understand that apache is an internal IP and DNS is an external IP.

Yes, many ISPConfig setups use this kind of configuration. Just use the internal IP address in the website settings and the external IP in the DNS manager.

Get ISPConfig support and the ISPConfig 3 manual from ispconfig.org.
