Default User/folder logic

I need some help getting started with ISPconfig.

I've installed it and everything works great. However, I can't find any documentation on where ISPconfig puts users websites, and how to configure it.
Also, can you tie a system user to a virtual ISPconfig user?

Usually something like /var/www/web1/web, /var/www/web2/web, etc.

What do you mean with virtual ISPConfig user? If you mean users of the ISPConfig control panel (admin, resellers, clients), then no.
