Default php include path

I have this scenario:

web site 1:
Home dir /var/www/web1
web dir: ./www

I have subdirs ./www/en, ./www/mk, ./www/something which in .php files I have include("/functions.php");

It say that "functions.php" do nofor debian but I never tried it on Centos. After a upgrade, you should go trough the perfect setup guide for the new cetos version and compare the config files with your upgraded setup to make sure everything is in place.

Maybe someone who did this upgarde on centos can give you a more detailed answer. t exist.

How to make if I have "include" in php to "look" in /var/www/???/web where ??? is different for each site.
