Default Need Help

Hello guys i need your expert advise, im running horde group webmail in centos5 http://wiki.horde.org/CentOS5InstallationNotes and i can say it was successfully working. Now the management decided to use it in production environment (of course to minimize exchange licenses hehehe). Im using Maildir format and more or less 300 users will be handle by centos5. I really don't know what hardware to recommend, this is my first time to get in linux world Please help.

Thanks in advance

Depends on what else is done on the server. If SpamAssassin and ClamAV are installed as well, there will be a higher load on the server.
I think an AMD Athlon X2 with 2GB RAM should be good for the start.

Take a look at the mailbox_size_limit parameter on http://www.postfix.org/postconf.5.html

Let's assume that all your Maildirs are inside the /home/vmail directory. Then all you have to do is back up that directory.
