Default unable to start courier authentication services

Hello there,

I'm new to linux and I'm sorry my English is not good enough.

I installed Fedora 8 and followed the perfect guide to setup "virtual users and domains with postfix, courier,..."

I got a problem from very begining on step 9 (configure saslauthd). The courier-authlib keep staying at "starting courier authentication services: authdaemond".

anything I missed?

Please help!
Thanks for your kind attention!
Best regards,

Did you disable SELinux?
