Talking Howto install EZ publish - 4.0 - Ubuntu 7.10

From the website : http://ez.no :

eZ Publish is an Enterprise Content Management platform with an easy to use out of the box Web Content Management System. It is available as a free Open Source distribution.

Ezpublish is a powerfull and robust CMS that is easy to install when all the requirements is present.
Reason for suggesting a HOWTO for EZ publish is that it is difficult to set up a server that will run Ezpublish with all required extensions ETC. :

1) Apache should be 1.3x but 2.x is ok if "prefork" is used
2) PHP 5.2x with

MySQLi extension (recommended) Required if a MySQL database will be used.
or MySQL functions
PostgreSQL functions Required if a PostgreSQL database will be used.
Zlib compression functions Required (see below).
DOM functions Required (see below).
Session support Required (enabled in PHP by default).
PCRE functions Required (enabled in PHP by default).
ImageMagick
CLI support Recommended (see below).
Client URL library functions Recommended
Multibyte string functions Recommended.
Exif functions Recommended.

eZ Components library

Awstats for web statistics.

The tricky point with Ez publish is to get a "perfect" server environment.
A well written HOWTO" on this topic would be a "killer"
