Test a site with php locally?

Got ISPConfig 2.2.14 installed on Debian Etch.

This test server is not on line, but I've put it on line for a minute to test the page www.mysite.com/info.php and it worked.

I want to do this locally on the server itself as you would do in MAMP or LAMP.

Is that possible (without LAMP)? If yes, what is the address in the browser? Localhost works (yields the address http://localhost/apache2-default/ ) and http://localhost/web1/web/ displays the correct web page, but http://localhost/web1/web/info.php gives: <?php phpinfo(); ?> so this way php is not being interpreted.
