Default Linux Based SAN

I've been tossing around the idea of building a SAN box and using Linux as my primary OS. A howto would be great, but ideas and thoughts on how to do it would be appreciated also and I might tackle the howto.

Thanks,

g8rbait

I found this on Google: http://www.dothill.com/tutorial/
but it's not exactly a howto, it's more a presentation what SAN is and what it can do...
So a "real" howto would be great!
