Default ProFTPd ServerIdent issue

My proftpd.conf file looks like so:

# /etc/proftpd/proftpd.conf -- This is a basic ProFTPD configuration file.
# To really apply changes reload proftpd after modifications.

# Includes DSO modules
Include /etc/proftpd/modules.conf

# Set off to disable IPv6 support which is annoying on IPv4 only boxes.
UseIPv6 on
# If set on you can experience a longer connection delay in many cases.

Can someone please explain to me why I continue to get the following message upon logging in?

220 ProFTPD 1.3.1 Server (Debian) [::ffff:]

Shouldn't I be getting:

220 FTP Server ready.

Now, when I log in from my server's command prompt:

ftp localhost
I get:

220 FTP Server ready.
It's ONLY when I log in via a third-party FTP client using my domain.tld that I get the entire string as above...

You should try to put the serverident line into global tags.
Till Brehm
Get ISPConfig support and the ISPConfig 3 manual from ispconfig.org.
