Default Help needed to setup EDGE modem/mobile using data cable on Mandriva Linux 2008

Hello all,

I am a new linux user.I was using previously Fedora 7 and browsed the internet by using my SonyEricsson k550i as a EDGE modem.I setup the modem by editing the "wvdial.conf" file under "/etc/" directory.

I have recently installed Mandriva linux 2008.0,But i could not setup my phone as a modem. Thus,i cannot use internet from Mandriva.

Please help me solve this..
