Faster answers to DNS Queries?
Is there a way to make faster DNS queries?
It seems that the queries take too long to answer and result is DNS request timed out.
> timeout was 2 seconds.
Is it possible to cache the DNS?
Sam

What exactly is the problem? Your server is answering too slow, or a remote server?

I'm not sure.
How can I measure how fast the Bind responds?
Is there a way to "cache" the answers?

You can test local and external servers with the dig command.
