Default Infinite loop

I used unetbootin to install ubuntu and it installed very nicely. However, when I try to boot into XP from the grub OS menu, the machine reboots and goes back into the grub OS menu where if I try to boot into XP, the same thing happens, etc.

How can I stop this from happening and get back to XP?

IS it possible that when you resized the XP partition, you didn't leave anough space for XP? Maybe you can fix this with GParted: http://www.howtoforge.com/partitioning_with_gparted
