MyDns
Just wondering, but will there, or is there an updated version of the Debian Sarge How-To of the MyDNS install?
http://howtoforge.com/mydns_name_server
I am looking to set this up, and i was going to try this out, but if there is an updated version, than that would be good
I am not using ISPConfig, ulthough i was thinking i prolly should. I am using ZoneEdit to manage my DNS, which works fine, but i am limited to 5 domains, unless i buy more credits (suppose i can up my prices to reflect this as well)
Anyway, just thought i would ask
Mistervlad.

There's a MyDNS tutorial for Ubuntu Edgy, if it helps you: http://www.howtoforge.com/mydns_mydn...on_ubuntu_edgy

Currently, you cannot use ISPConfig with MyDNS (this will change in v3 of ISPConfig), so please don't try to install ISPConfig if you're using MyDNS.

Ok, is Ubuntu the same as Debian? I honestly dont know, as I dont have the time to follow all the flavors of Linux, and I was introduced to Debian through a colleague, and have used it ever since.
THank you for your reply Falko, and as for ISPConfig, i dont plan on using it, although it does seem handy.

Ubuntu is based on Debian, so they are very similar, but not the same.
