Default Backup server setup

Hello all!!

I have 2 servers. One in location A and the other on location B. The server on location A is set as server.domain.com with ns1.domain.com and ns2.domain.com. the server on location B is set as server2.samedomain.com with no nameserver (ns?) because i don't know whats the next step.

I want that when server (a) goes offline to have server (b) be the backup. i dont want any server mirror setup i have uploaded all my websites already to my second server(my websites dosen't need alot of updates). I just need to know how to setup my main domain nameservers on ispconfig so my plan work.

Thanks

You should use your firts server as primary DNS server (ns1.domain.com) and your secondary server as secondary dns server (ns2.domain.com), so you nameserver will not fail if one of the servers is offline.
