Unhappy http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_setup_ubuntu_6.06_p4

when i installing some aplication i have an error like this

E: Couldnt Find ncftp package

who can help me

i used apt-get update
apt-get upgrade

but still E: couldnt find ncftp package

What's in /etc/apt/sources.list?
What's the output of

Then replace it with the one from chapter 6 on http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_setup_ubuntu_6.06_p3
Run

apt-get update
afterwards.
