Beryl and ATI X850XT?

Hello Folks,
Anyone here have any experience with installing Beryl with the ATI X850XT video card on Feisty Fawn? I'm considering it but wanted to verify that it will work, I noticed my card falls under the "experimental" category. Thanks in advance.

I watched this demo video at youtube and was blown away by the desktop effects that Beryl has to offer. My friend at Dell was very impressed with it as well and plans on experimenting with it, however he has a high end gaming card like me, so I guess we'll have to wait until it's perfected.

Feisty Fawn AND my X850XT and beryl works. Just follow the guide to make it work. Now I'm looking for a solution to make my dual-head setup work. Does anyone know how to do this?

I kept getting a pixmap error, I'll try it again following Falko's guide, I just did a fresh install of Ubuntu 7.04.

Ok gentlemen,
After reinstalling Ubuntu and following the tutorial again it finally works, I'm not sure what happened before to cause the pixmap errors but it's gone now. Thanks to all who responded, especially to Falko for providing this superb tutorial!
