Default Need to access ftp with IE or Firefox

I need to access ftp (ftp://ftp.misite.com). I always get logged as guest
I need the IE ask me for user and password

If I do that I get ... Shared IP...
The server runs the perfect Ubuntu 6.10 guide to configure the server and the latest version of ISPConfig

You could use the Firefox FTP addon FireFTP

Did you type in ftp:// or http://?

As torusturtle did, I recommend to use a real FTP client such as SmartFTP or gFTP.

In IE, can't you right click and choose logon as?
