Users And Domains With Postfix, Courier And MySQL (Debian Etch)

I followed the howto (thanks for the great work falko) and encounter a telnet problem on page 5: testing postfix:
~$ telnet localhost 25
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.localdomain.
Escape character is '^]'.
ehlo localhost

and here telnet freeze.

remark: the courier pop test did it succesfully.

What had i omit to do ?

Sorry for the noise...
Was a permission problem.
all /etc/postfix/mysql-virtual* must be set to 644.
