Re KDE and "Installing Beryl On An Ubuntu Feisty Fawn Desktop With An ATI Radeon Gra"

Hi,

I'm running Kubuntu feisty and have followed the how-to successfully, and got Beryl to run when started manually from the command line, but the session auot-start won't work. I have altered

exec gnome-session

to

exec startkde

but no good. On starting the session, the KDE taskbar vanishes, along with the maximise minimise buttons on the restored firefox, which I can't drag around.

Any idea how to get KDE to like it?
