Default Giving username more permissions

Hi there everyone,

I have sort of a linux question more than a ispconfig question, but I don't to do something that will interfer with the workings of ispconfig.

I have a username that i first set up the computer with and I would like to give that username more permissions, so that they can access any folder and make read write changes (Much like root). If I add the user to the "root" group will it give it these privileges?

Thanks

Yes, that should work.
