Default Does not report as authoritative

I have puzzled over this for over a week now, trying everything I can imagine. Regardless of what I do, when I do a query against the MyDNS server, it responds as non-authoritative. I have this server, along with the two Windows-based servers that I plan to replace, listed as NS servers. The only thing I have been unable to do that I can do in Windows is add in the Zone NS section an A record for the NS servers IP addresses. For instance, site trickmybox.com uses dns-1.syberwerx.net. dns-2.syberwerx.net. and dns1.syberwerx.net . as DNS servers. The last one is the MyDNS server. In the trickmybox.com zone all three servers are listed. If you do an nslookup for www.trickmybox.com against dns1.syberwerx.net the answer will return as non-authoritative. I'm guessing something easy, but what?

One minor annoyance with MyDNSConfig. I had created a couple of zones under "admin" then created a new user, then created a few zones under that name. I can only edit the zones under the name that originally created the zone! Sort of kills the usefulness of multiple users.

Thanks for any suggestions you can provide,

I edit the zones with multiple users on ym server and it workd fine for me. Please check if the records belong to the same groups that the users which should edit them belong to. You can do this e.g. by comparing the sys_group_id of the records in phpmyadmin.

No, I have not checked that. I was assuming that the software would take care of that, as I do not see anywhere I can assign a group setting to a domain name. Did you find this on your own, or is it documented?

It should, but maybe something went wrong...
