Hi there.
I installed postfix on a Ubuntu Dapper install and use ISPConfig to manage things. I've configured my system and postfix with a hostname that isn't currently usable (e.g. the domain is currently set to another ip).
I've edited main.cf and set myhostname to localhost. But everytime a mail comes in postfix tries to deliver it to
user@old.hostname.org.
I've restarted postfix, but that didn't help. Any ideas?
This is my /etc/postfix/main.cf:
http://paste.ubuntu-nl.org/15267/
And these are the messages i get in mail.log:
Apr 12 22:26:58 localhost postfix/smtp[5282]: connect to ubuntu606m.worldofubuntu.com[68.178.232.99]: Connection timed out (port 25)
Apr 12 22:26:58 localhost postfix/smtp[5261]: A3EAB6E837F: to=<jeroen_mijnfotomap@ubuntu606m.worldofubuntu.co m>, orig_to=<jeroen@mijnfotomap.nl>, relay=none, delay=1432, status=deferred (connect to ubuntu606m.worldofubuntu.com[68.178.232.99]: Connection timed out)
ubuntu606m.worldofubuntu.com is the address i used as a hostname in /etc/hosts and /etc/postfix/main.cf as myhostname. The address is currently not yet running in this server.
What am i missing here?
