The Perfect Setup - Fedora Core 4 for hosting use
Hello
I used the guide TPSFC4 for setting up a hosting server with ISPConfig.
The setup works great with some adjustments.
But now I have met some limitations.
After setting up several domains, I noticed that all domains share e-mail users.
So if one domain have the user "webmaster" or "admin" no other domain can have the same user.
How can I solve this problem.
I want all domains do be independant.

1) You must create a new website for every domain, dont use co-domains.
2) To separate users, ISPConfig uses the username prefix. If you deleted this, you will have to add it again.

Thank you for quick reply.
I know the prefix thing, and use new site for all domains.
But I see other hosting servers have lots of domains and not use prefix.
And all domains can have users like "admin and "webmaster" etc....
What kind of setup do they use?

I think they use virtual users for email and ftp. In such a setup, you use an email address as your username.

Any chance there will be support for virtual users etc in ISPConfig?
Or maybe a choice to set a prefix per domian (not preset for all, bot the possibility to set one you want).
