Default RHEL5 Support

I have a client that needs to use a decent Virtual Hosting control panel to manage multiple sites. I would like to evaluate ISPConfig rather than suggesting any of the commercial solutions like plesk or cpanle but the installed bails on a RHEL5 test machine I am trying to use. OS Not supported. I cant imagine there would be all that many, if any, significant changes between RHEL4 and 5 with regards to the installer so would it be safe to "trick" the installer by changing redhat-release to show as RHEL4?

That should work, but we haven't tested it.
