My apache2 error log now reports lots of errors like these:

Could this affect the performance?

The freezings seem to be gone now. if they continue I'll post here.

One strange this that keeps happening is that when I post in a SMF forum hosted by ISP Config the page never changes after I hit "post" but if I go back and refresh the topic the post is there. Is this related in any way with this Apache2 thing?

Why does this appear in your Apache logs? This should be in your mail log!
