WWW.domain.tld stopped working

http://www.derekgordon.com stopped working after I created an old.derekgordon.com account and setup its dns. the information for www was unaltered and both reside on two separate IPs, I tried them on the same IPs originally. However, http://derekgordon.com/ loads just fine.
