Default MySQL character encoding

Hi everyone!

I need to convert a downloaded mysql database of my site and convert it's character encoding to some other that my new operator uses.
Maybe a script or a program could do that ?
Thanks in advance.

Default

You can specify --default_character-set when you run mysqldump. Take a look here: http://confluence.atlassian.com/disp...acter+Encoding
There's an example on that page.
