Smile ISP Config 3 Design

Hi,
I think ISPConfig 3 should have design like hosting control panel on this website http://www.zettahost.com/

Its simple, easy and looks nice, i think its a great control panel and we should make ISPConfig 3 have the same sort of design

I could help create some of the graphics if you wanted to have a design like this

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,

i like how this controlpanel looks like. It looks a bit like plesk, the major player in this area.

The structure is similar in ISPConfig 3 already, you have a upper menu to switch between the modules like clients, websites, email etc. and a left (sub) menu where you find items to create email accounts, redirects, filters etc.

If you want me to make a graphics or icons for it i can

I also think that the user should have a traffic and diskspace limit for the user and not the site so that one user can have multiple sites sharing there diskspace and traffic between them

Can i see a screen shot off ISPConfig 3 ui?

Yeah I agree Plesk is quite nice. Control Panel is good but no where near as clean as plesk. both quite powerful and tweakable.

In regards to ISPC3, I got a copy from SVN and running it. Till's focus so far is alot on the back end so the front end isn't as glamorous as you'd hope for as it's way still in development.

Here's one screen.

Yes, its currently only my working theme. The complete theme files are put in one folder so its easy to make better looking themes later and even switch them on a per user basis if wanted. The theming engine is very flexible, so its also possible to put the left navigation on top in a theme

My primary goal is to get everything working at first

Yes, thats one of the main reasons for doing a complete rewrite. I'am currently spending several hours per day coding on ISPConfig to get a first preview ready for testing. As its completely modular, the first working preview might contain just email and DNS so everyone might get a imagination on what I'am working on.

Yes Its all in english except of some files and the sys_user table that I borrowed from one of my other projects. I will replace / rewrite this until its released.

I like the new design I still think we whould put the sites in a user folder instead of a site folder, it would make managing easier and FTP
