Firewall monitoring log and banning IPs.

Is there an accessible log that the ISPConfig firewall spits out? I'm looking for connections that get through and to what ports. I know how to open and close ports through the web interface but I'm looking for a proactive way to monitor and report people trying to ping ports.

I have already reported several people for attempting to get access from the auth.log. However, I was looking for a way to directly see who has been getting through.

Also, using ISPConfig is it at all possible to ban certain IPs? Ideally I would like a program that would ban someone for a 3 month period.
