Default probaly an stupid question about antivirus

I know I can enable or disable the antie virus, antispam in ISPConfig but how do I download the latest update's or does it do that automaticly.
I installed ISPConfig the perfect setup ubuntu 6.10 way.

The latest antivirus updates where downloaded automatically.

Okee I understand that with the install the latest are downloaded. But after the install does the program itself do the updates or must I manually update, or can I edid some program functions for updating?

This means that everything is updated automatically, you dont have to edit anything and you cant edit anything.
