I just want to share, currently we're working on easyhotspot a chillihotspot bassed hotspot system. Actually its completed (now) , we're still looking for new idea to make this better. The goal is a painless hotspot system ...
please give us some suggestion of how hotspot system should be ...

Just wanted to say good luck with your project....We need more open source hotspot options. We are producing a hotspot system that runs on OpenWRT so you can run the hotspot directly on the router without PC

its been years since i post this thread ...

just want to update that we have complete the project and released 2 version PLUS now we have hosted solution and its free

Another low cost alternative to setting up your own system might be RouterHotspot.com. They have a couple options and are based in the US. They include a modified router hotspot with their base membership package.
