Will this program work to backup files and database for my websites? I have Debian perfect setup on the main server. Also, what do I setup on the backup server? Do I do a compleat Debian perfect setup before I do the install of this application?

I'd use it only for file backups, not for database backups.

A minimal Debian installation is enough, but it doesn't hurt if you do the full "Perfect Setup".

You'd need a second MySQL server then, and then you can use this tutorial for backing up your databases: http://www.howtoforge.com/back_up_my..._interruptions
