Default Need help for writing shell script

Hey guys, I am a new baby here, I need some help in writing a shell script, it basically need to compare the two file contents in xyz time intervals, if the size of source folder is larger, then it will automatically rotate the file to the destination folder, and rename it to folder.1 folder.2, folder.3..etc without overwritting the folder in the destination. Can anyone help me?

thanks
