Default centos 5 issue

Hi everyone
I have tryed to setup another server using the perfect setup guide for centos and ubuntu. I have a problem out of both installations the server wouldnt display any sites. gave me cannot connect to server page instead. I have setup one server using centos 4.4 and its being doing great for awhile now, but this time no go. and suggestions to what could be my problem? 2 different setups and same issue, i do know the server is connected and it can resolve dns.

1) Are you in a NAT enviroment behind a router?
2) Do you have ISPConfig installed?
3) Please post the output of:

netstat -tap

iptables -L
