how to send mail with attachement from commandline

hi,

I am using postfix on my debian server and I often need to get some php files locally for editing, so I need a method to quickly send me those files, something like: mail -a file.php toaddress <enter>

until now I was moving the php file into a webroot, changing the extension to .txt and downloaded it :-(

nevermind, I found mutt and the problem is solved :-)
